Two Upcoming Workshops from ASO

From High School to Adulthood
This interactive workshop will guide students and their families through the process of transition from high school into the adult world, providing information on agencies, resources and eligibility requirements.

Topics will include:

  • Why planning ahead for transition is so important
  • What school districts are required to do to help plan for transition
  • Accessing resources to better understand the transition process

Puberty & Sexuality
for Youth & Adults on the Autism Spectrum

For parents of youth and adults with special needs who are working through puberty and sexuality issues, or who will be. Special focus will be given to autism spectrum disorders but this is appropriate for any youth or adult with special needs. Please be prepared for a frank discussion.
