We used red glitter for our erupting snow volcano!

This month in OT we are making….
Erupting Snow
Ingredients:
¼ cup of Baking Soda
1 TB of Vinegar
Blue glitter
2-3 squirts of Shaving Cream
Instructions:
Pour baking soda into a bowl
Add shaving cream
Add as much glitter as you like
Mix the ingredients together.
Pour the vinegar and watch the magic….

Benefits of making erupting snow:
Practices problem solving with a great opportunity to ask “what do you think will happen next?”
Provides tactile and visual input for sensory processing
Encourages fine motor skills through scooping, pouring and mixing

-Have your child help you make the recipe by mixing the ingredients with your hands!
