May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May 30th, 2017 | Posted by Patrick in Blog

Each year, millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental health condition. Data indicates that 1 in 5 U.S. adults will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime.

Each year in May, we as a community the fight stigma, provide support, educate the public and advocate for equal care. Each year, this movement grows stronger. Help us to make sure that no one is alone on their mental health journey.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Oregon chapter  is an excellent resource. Please see the attached infographic for additional information about mental health factors related to children.
